Everyone’s job at Delny Glamping is to serve. No matter our title or job description, our reason for coming to work is to generously share our time and talents. Whether it’s treating guests like friends, or serving our communities like neighbours, we believe kindness is a higher calling.

Our Chosen Charity
The Ben Saunders Foundation (BSF) Registered charity number 1192178.
The founder Ben Saunders was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer sarcoma in October 2019. During Ben’s cancer journey he set up the foundation to offer support to young people and their families with cancer like himself.
In October 2020 the Ben Saunders foundation purchased a holiday home in the Cotswolds in England that allows children, young people and their families to go on holiday together at no cost.
The Ben Saunders foundation takes away the financial pressure of paying for a holiday. Enabling families to be able to concentrate on what matters the most, spending quality time together.
Unfortunately in August 2020 Ben passed away, but he left behind something special. A legacy that will last for generations, a vision that will touch families all over the UK for years to come.
Why did we choose the Ben Saunders Foundation?
Ben and his family are very good friends with our eldest daughter Elizabeth. When Ben became ill Elizabeth kept us updated regarding his journey and their story instantly touched our hearts.
In October 2020 we ran a competition to stay in the Auld Reekie for 3 nights with breakfast to raise money for the foundation. £1835 was raised but we felt we could do more.
Seeing guests enjoy the space we have created highlights how important time away with loved ones is which is why we choose this foundation.
We are proud to say Delny Glamping has donated over £11500 toward this amazing foundation between 2020 and 2024!
Just Giving
Delny Glamping has been a huge success since opening in July 2018. We are so excited to be able to support the Ben Saunders foundation in their amazing dream.
To show our love and support to them we donate 5% of our monthly turnover to this wonderful vision. Whether it’s a payment for your stay, your breakfast or more firewood, 5% of that amount is donated to the foundation.
We feel so privileged to be able to support this foundation and the happiness it will bring for years to come.

Local Communities
We are a glamping business located in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland where communities mean everything. We aim to have a positive impact on the community which is why we believe in giving back. Each year we are asked to provide accommodation for a fund raiser often via a raffle. We look at each request and do all we can to help. In the last 7 years we’ve donated a selection of our Glamping accommodations to 17 local fund raisers.
During 2025 we will be aiming to help and donate where we can to local charities and fundraisers.

Do Soccer Sponsorship
In November 2020 we sponsored a local football club “Do Soccer”. Do Soccer Academy’s aim is to provide fun and professional soccer training for children of all abilities aged 8-18. Its healthy for children to be part of a team and to have committed coaches train with them. Zach at “Do Soccer” commits his time for our children’s benefit. Standing on the pitch in all weathers to ensure our children can enjoy a sport they love. When Zach was looking for help to pay for a football kit for the Under 15’s we knew it was our time to contribute!
Highland Hospice
In May 2022 we sponsored Laura by donating a free nights stay in one of our whisky barrels. Laura took part in Ride London 2022! A 100 mile cycle around London. She ended up completing this amazing challenge in just 5hrs 15minutes.

March 2023 – We supported a local football team “Tain Juniors” by donating a nights stay in one of our popular whisky barrel pods. A race night was held locally to raise funds for the kids football club. Our donation was added to the raffle that raised a total of £1829. The money was used towards new training equipment and football kits.
May 2023 – We donated a nights stay in one of our Whisky Barrels worth £80 to the Tain Youth Cafe for their fundraising raffle. The much needed money raised helps with the running cost at the youth cafe which has seen a dramatic rise in their electricity bill this year! The youth cafe is a vital part of the community that supports the young people and residents of Tain.
During 2024 we provided vouchers for free stays at Delny Glamping to Knockbreck primary school and a local Pony club. Both were raising money to support children with extra activities.
