Delny Glamping is a Dog-friendly glamping site

Delny Glamping happily welcomes dogs in the Wee Bothies and Muckle Bothies. This is because we ourselves have three pampered pooches and can totally understand how important it is to have your fury companion on holiday with you. Some of our favourite moments are when an excitable dog sees its holiday home for the first time.

We only ask that you observe these doggie dos and don’ts to ensure the safety and well being of our guests and site.

Doggy Do’s and Dont’s

We welcome one large dog or 2 small dogs to our Wee Bothies and Muckle Bothies only (Whisky Barrel, The Servants Quarters & The Auld Reekie does not accept dogs) and we only ask the following,

  • An extra cleaning charge of £5 per dog per night is applicable with payment due on arrival.
  • A pet request must be made at booking, guest are not allowed to turn up at the accommodation with a dog without prior agreement.
  • Only type of pet allowed is a dog.
  • Breeds on the dangerous dog list or fighting dogs are not accepted.
  • Bring your own dog bed, they will enjoy their stay more! Please also ensure you bring your own towels etc for cleaning and drying your dog.
  • We know you love your dog but we ask that they are not allowed on the furniture and especially the bed.
  • Dogs must be on a lead at all times. This is to ensure the safety of our many animals, children and guests roaming free range around the site. Remember… unfortunately, not everybody loves our pets like we do.  There is no fenced off area for dogs specifically however guests are welcome to walk their dogs along the tree line within the grounds of Delny Glamping.
  • Please ensure that your dog is clean before entering the Bothy (an outside tap is provided).
  • Dogs should never be left alone in the accommodation.
  • All dog waste must be scooped, bagged and disposed of in the external waste bin by the dog owner.
  • It’s the owners responsibility to clean up after your dog inside and outside the Bothy
  • Please ensure that flea treatment is up to date before arrival.
  • The interior and grounds must be left in a clean, undamaged condition.
  • Any damaged or stains must be paid for in full.

Alternatively, our newly renovated Smokehouse, provides self-catering accommodation for those couples seeking something with all mod-cons. It features a private hot-tub and wood burning stove.
